Introductions

The best introductions are small ones.

Most of the people we work with came to us because someone told them to call. If there is someone you have been meaning to mention us to, here are three ways to do it that take under a minute.

01

Send them the check, not the firm

Nobody wants to be handed a financial advisor. Most people will happily spend two minutes on ten questions. Send the link and let it do the work.

02

Send them a guide

If you know what is on their mind — an exit, a retirement date, six advisors who never speak — send the one that matches. It reads as a thought, not a referral.

03

Make the introduction yourself

Tell us who to expect and we will reach out gently, mention you by name, and take no for an answer the first time.

Make an introduction

Tell us who to expect.

We will contact them once, say that you suggested it, and leave it there unless they want to talk. No sequence, no list.

Please make sure the person is happy to hear from us before you send their details. We will mention you by name when we reach out.

For accountants & attorneys

The affiliate route

If you advise business owners professionally, there is a formal version of this. As an FAI Affiliate you partner with Financial Architects to serve your business-owner clients with both our planning process and access to the Q5 Experience, our business succession arm.

It’s a given that your clients will eventually exit their businesses. The question is whether you will be part of that conversation.

Even a brief introduction could open the door to a conversation that makes a real difference for them. Chris Cousins, President & Co-Owner
